Best Borneo Holiday & Rent A Car

1. Booking & Payment

  • All vehicle bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • Full payment or a deposit may be required to secure a reservation.

  • By confirming a booking, the renter agrees to the terms and conditions of this Return & Refund Policy.

2. Cancellation by Customer

More than 7 days before rental start date

  • Full refund of any deposit or payment made, less any applicable transaction or processing fees.

3 to 7 days before rental start date

  • 50% refund of the total rental amount paid.

Less than 72 hours before rental start date

  • No refund will be provided.

No-Show

  • If the customer fails to collect the vehicle at the agreed date and time without prior notice, the booking will be considered a "No-Show" and no refund will be issued.

3. Early Return of Vehicle

  • No refund will be given for unused rental days if the vehicle is returned before the agreed rental period ends.

  • Exceptions may be considered only under extraordinary circumstances and at the company's discretion.

4. Vehicle Return Conditions

The vehicle must be returned:

  • On the agreed date and time.

  • In the same condition as when collected, excluding normal wear and tear.

  • With all supplied accessories, keys, documents, and equipment.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Late returns.

  • Missing items.

  • Excessive dirt requiring special cleaning.

  • Damage not covered under insurance or agreed protection plans.

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.

  • Refunds will be made using the original payment method whenever possible.

  • Processing times may vary depending on the customer's bank or payment provider.

6. Company-Initiated Cancellation

If Best Borneo Holiday & Rent A Car is unable to provide the reserved vehicle due to unforeseen circumstances:

  • A comparable replacement vehicle will be offered where available.

  • If no suitable replacement is available, a full refund will be issued.

7. Force Majeure

No refunds or compensation will be provided for disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Government restrictions

  • Road closures

  • Public emergencies

The company may, at its discretion, offer alternative arrangements or rental credits.

8. Security Deposit

  • Security deposits are refundable after the vehicle is returned and inspected.

  • Any deductions for damages, fines, toll charges, fuel shortages, cleaning fees, or other outstanding amounts will be communicated to the renter.

  • The remaining balance of the deposit will be refunded within 7–21 business days after vehicle return.
