Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Best Borneo Holiday. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Eligibility

  • The renter must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving licence.
  • International customers must present a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) along with their home country licence.
  • The renter must present a valid MyKad or Passport at the time of vehicle collection.

2. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings must be confirmed with full payment or a deposit as agreed.
  • Prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • A security deposit may be required at the time of vehicle collection and will be refunded upon safe return of the vehicle.

3. Rental Period

  • The rental period begins and ends at the agreed time. Late returns may incur additional charges.
  • Extensions to the rental period must be requested and approved at least 24 hours before the original return time.

4. Vehicle Use

  • The rented vehicle must only be driven by the authorised renter stated in the rental agreement.
  • The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities, racing, or off-road driving.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all vehicles. A cleaning fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
  • Pets are not allowed in the vehicle unless prior approval is obtained.

5. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are provided with a specific fuel level at the time of pick-up.
  • The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as when it was picked up.
  • Failure to return the vehicle with the same fuel level will result in a fuel surcharge based on the difference.

6. Accidents & Damages

  • The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period.
  • Any accident must be reported to Best Borneo Holiday and the relevant authorities immediately.
  • The renter is liable for all costs arising from damage, theft, or loss of the vehicle during the rental period.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the rental start date will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the rental start date may forfeit the deposit.
  • No-shows will be charged the full rental amount.

8. Breakdown & Roadside Assistance

  • In the event of a breakdown, please contact us immediately at +601110570862.
  • Best Borneo Holiday will arrange assistance as soon as possible. The renter must not attempt repairs without our authorisation.

9. Limitation of Liability

Best Borneo Holiday shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our rental vehicles, including but not limited to loss of income, personal injury, or property damage.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sabah, Malaysia.
